Where CIA agents meet their spy contacts in Nassau, Bahamas

The Poop Deck- featured in the "Penumbra Database"

In the Corey Pearson spymaster series, this iconic place on East Bay Street in Nassau, Bahamas is often mentioned. Why? Because it's a meeting place where CIA agents meet their contacts. Here's a snippet from Episode 6 of the "Penumbra Database":

Episode 6 Missed rendevouz
Poop Deck Restaurant  and Pub Nassau, Bahamas

(GPS 25°04’28.1”N 77°19’03.5”W)

"Corey Pearson sat on a barstool at the Poop Deck Restaurant & Pub sipping a Goombay Smash. General Morrison scheduled the rendez- vous with Darnell Ferguson at noon. It was 12:30pm…  a no-show.    A lone man entered the restaurant, drawing Corey’s attention. His behavior was dissimilar to that of a typical customer. He sat at a ta- ble overlooking Nassau Harbor and nervously glanced at Corey and the other bar patrons, then at the entrance doorway and around the open-air restaurant. Whoever it was he expected to meet made him uneasy. Corey made a quick mental note of the man’s physical ap- pearance and exited the restaurant.

CBIF protocol dictated the next step. He  proceeded  west  on East Bay Street toward the backup rendezvous, the Bullion Bar at the British Colonial Hotel, the old “BC” as the locals nicknamed it. Corey footed it quickly down East Bay Street for an eighth of a mile until    he reached Potter’s Cay, a conglomeration of open-air venders and fishing boats underneath the Paradise Island bridge. Once there, he glanced over his shoulder to determine if the uneasy, thin, mustached man in the Panama hat followed him out of the Poop Deck."
