Best-Kept Secrets of Key West, Florida Keys and Caribbean!

Hello and welcome back! This 5/30/18 "Caribbean and Florida Keys Best-Kept Secrets!" newsletter is all about my favorite bars in Key West that are mentioned often in my spy thriller series. Enjoy the neat facts and photos of the Key West Schooner Wharf Bar. There's even a video of singer Michael McCloud singing a song I love called "Schooner Wharf Bar Dog."

There's more about the
Caribbean and how it suffered back-to-back hurricanes, so I threw in an informative article about surviving a powerful hurricane and insights on living through a tropical storm. I luv Jimmy Buffett. Yeah, I'm a Parrot Head and mention him in my spy series often. I threw in an article about Jimmy in Key West. There's more articles about:
  • Mysteries of the Florida Keys and Caribbean
  • Sloppy Joes Bar
  • The upcoming Hemingway look-alike contest
  • A nice photo gallery
  •  Recipes on how to make Caribbean rum punches
  • Sloppy Joe's Taproom and its cold crafted beers on tap and full bar with premium domestic and imported bottled beers
  • The best child-free Caribbean cruises cruises
  • The program "ReDiscover Dominica" to boost tourism on the island of Dominica
  • How to choose the perfect Caribbean island for your dream holiday
  • The best church charities to donate to for victims of hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria
  • Lots of neat photos of the Caribbean and Key West
  • The island of Barbados has its first woman leader elected
Don't miss the video section, especially the one of the "Schooner Wharf Bar Dog" song being sung by Michael McCloud, with real dogs sitting under real bar stools! Another video shows Sloppy Joe's Bar under water one day after Hurricane Irma. Enjoy!

Video of Junkanoo Beach from Corey Pearson spy series        Junkanoo Beach and the Tiki Bikini Hut beach bar appear In several of the episodes in the "Corey Pearson, CIA Spymaster in the Caribbean" series. After all, the "Tiki Bikini" is Corey's most favorite beach bar in all the Caribbean. He finds peace of mind there and it's a great place to meet and blend in with the locals while meeting with CIA assets. It's just a short walk from downtown Nassau on West Bay Street.       It's a 15 minute walk from the cruise ship docks. Just head west on West Bay Street and you'll run right into this free beach with colorful souvenir, food and drink vendor huts that blend in seamlessly with the coconut palms that line the place. Definitely sit at the Tiki Bikini Hut beach bar. Who knows...maybe you'll spot Corey Pearson with one of his CIA or CBIF buddies? Tiki Bikini Hut Beach Bar on Junkanoo Beach  ...

I'm a Jimmy Buffet fan and mention him off and on in the "Penumbra Database," the first in a series of the Corey Pearson- CIA Spymaster in the Florida Keys and Caribbean spy series . Below is a mention of Jimmy Buckett's past life, when he first started out singing in Key West. A CIA safe house blends in to the homes on Eaton Street. His counterintelligence (CI) teams protect him along the way:       "As Morrison strolled further down Margaret Street toward Harpoon Harry’s, he felt regret for not telling Corey about the San Francisco CBIF safe house. Through the CSS business, he instructed BHH to attempt to breach Cheng’s MIT computer in Cambridge, Massachusetts and to devise new firewalls to patch up any cyber weaknesses in its de...
